If red roses are your fancy, then the wedding of Chelsey and Paul Boe is your dream! Thousands of red roses adorned the marriage canopy, Chelsey’s bouquet and the reception ballroom in the Pinnacle Club of the Grand Hyatt Denver. Chelsey’s gown was a TonyBowls design, and the flowers came from Newberry Brothers. The wedding and reception design was produced by LMD Productions, and Starkey Productions provided the hi-energy band Syndicate for the evening. The entire production was planned and coordinated by Walli Richardson Events. Just amazing!

We think Franklin made his best catch ever here in Denver before he went to pitch for Boston. And we have no baseball analogies to describe how spectacular Isabel looked, as she prepared in her suite at the Four Seasons, donned her spectacular gown from Demetrios Bridal, and then headed over to the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception to walk down the aisle and take his hand. Father Paul O’Brien flew in from Boston to officiate a meaningful mass in both English and Spanish as an international crowd looked on. The service was followed by a an amazing reception for some 450 friends and family at the El Jebel Shrine in north Denver. Mariachis started off a non-stop evening of dancing and entertainment complete with “la marcha,” a traditional Mexican wedding dance, “la hora loca,” when everyone donned glow-in-the-dark glasses and headbands, and a photo booth provided by The Traveling Photo Booth. On another day we might be looking for no-hitters, but for Isabel and Franklin this day was a grand slam!

It was the real thing Saturday, since Amy and Einav had been through the drill on Friday. But when the fire alarm got inadvertently set off, the Denver Fire Department rushed over to add some unexpected excitement to the day. In the middle of the ketuba signing everyone had to evacuate, but fortunately there was no danger, and the fireman arrived in good spirits, as you can see. The only thing burning was the love shared by this wonderful and beautiful couple, and the ceremony and reception went off just as planned. It was a joyous and beautiful celebration at Temple Emanuel. The bride prepared in a lovely suite at the JW Marriott, with styling provided by Antoine du Chez and makeup by the spa at the JW, before she donned a spectacular gown from Anna Bé. For the reception, decor was provided by LMD Productions and Event Rents, catering by Catering by Design, music by Starkey Productions, beautiful florals by Newberry Brothers and a lovely cake by Gateaux. Our photography was complimented by the outstanding video of Mares Video Productions. The event was planned from start to finish by veteran planner Walli Richardson. What a day, what a night!

Lana and Dan’s stately processional at the University Club gave no clue to the style of the cermony, as their friend Lisa began the officiating with lines from “The Princess Bride.” “Mawage. Mawage is wot bwings us togeder tooday. Mawage, that bwessed awangment, that dweam wifin a dweam…” A great start to break the ice, which was followed by meaningful and heartfelt vows that Lana and Dan wrote for themselves. A wonderful reception followed with music by Jammin’ DJs. The elegant florals were provided by Plum Sage.

Classic Colorado was the backdrop for Megan and Bryan’s amazing wedding day as they held their ceremony at the Woodmen Valley Stone Chapel. Morning preparations began at the Garden of the Gods Club, which also hosted the reception in the afternoon. Megan’s stunning gown was a Casablanca design from Amanda’s Bridal. Live entertainment was provided by the Changing Times Band. The beautiful flowers came from Ambience Florals and the cake from Boonzaaijer’s Dutch Bakery. Following a fun balloon release and a few pictures on the lawn of the Club, we headed off to spend some time with just the two of them, and captured them enjoying the late afternoon at the luxurious Broadmoor. A beautiful couple and a beautiful day!

We recently spent some time with Amy and Einav in downtown Denver and felt like we were shooting models for Vanity Fair. It was a great time, and we’re definitely looking forward to their ceremony later this month at Temple Emanuel!

What a perfect wedding day for CJ and Josh! Preparations for CJ started in the Presidential Suite of the Denver Sheraton Downtown. Soon we headed off for the ceremony at Trinity Methodist Church, one of Denver’s most historic churches, as beautiful now as when it was built in 1888. A carriage ride afterwards through downtown led to pictures at the City-County building, and a spectacular reception at the Sheraton topped off the day. There were some very personal touches to the day. CJ’s gorgeous gown was designed and sewn by her Aunt Katie, and her stunning jewelry was created by her mom Linda. The amazing decor and florals in the Sheraton’s Grand Ballroom were done by Design Works and music was provided by the DJ Guy. The catering, the cake, the attention to detail and the service of the Denver Sheraton were all exceptional.

Traci and Larry’s relationship had a beer theme from the start. Their first official date was at the Wynkoop brewery in LoDo, and we shot part of their engagement pictures there. For the wedding in Vail, they had a microbrew growler centerpiece at every table, and a cake from Intricate Icings in the form of a beer dispenser, complete with a working tap! It was a fun day from start to finish as they rode the gondola to the top of the mountain, headed to the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens for the ceremony, and finished off with a great reception at the Donovan Pavilion. Great catering was provided by Gourmet Cowboy from Minturn, A Music Plus handled the music, and Sapphire Celebrations coordinated the whole affair. It was definitely a day to remember, complete with a signature drink: Sacramint Stout!

Buster Poindexter’s Hot Hot Hot could have easily been the theme of Kara and Ryan’s day, with the temperature topping out around 105˚ and hardly a cloud in the sky. But when we suggested to the bridal party that they could skip the pictures on the golf course they said, “No! No! Don’t take that away from us!” and they didn’t let the weather slow them down a bit! Definitely one of the most enthusiastic and fun bridal parties ever! Beautiful outdoor wedding and reception following at Red Rocks Country Club. Kara’s gorgeous gown came from Amanda’s Bridal and makeup was provided by Tiffany McCray of Blush Artistry & Co.

We did a repeat of last year’s photo shoot for stylists at the Headlines Style Salon to create Vogue-like posters for the salon walls. Everyone picked a different theme. Kacey opted for a western look; Jodee went with a pin-up girl style; Melanie, who grew up in Ecuador, picked a Latin look; and Sophia chose rock and roll. All gorgeous stylists who know their business!
